“What good is thousands of readers if there is no portal to express your voice?
Not much!
We want to hear about your thoughts, comments and especially about your new discoveries.” – Frolic Mills
You are right! And here we go, Frolic:
In one of the latest articles on the new BOSL webpage you will find an interview with Frolic Mills where he talks about the Miss SL Universe Organisation. Let’s have a closer look at this special part:
Umberto Giano: Now, there were some accusations against yourself about misrepresentation of the prize package in the original pageant. What do you say to this?
Frolic Mills: Oh yes, I read about this, and, quite frankly, I had no choice but to laugh. I didn’t defend myself then, and I won’t do it now. I just don’t think any of my friends nor business associates would ever believe that I stole a pair of shoes (or whatever) from an ex-beauty queen.
If you know the story behind this statment, you also know that Frolic Mills is telling you 2 lies in just 1 answer.
First lie: I had no choice but to laugh
Second lie: I just don’t think any of my friends nor business associates would ever believe that I stole a pair of shoes (or whatever) from an ex-beauty queen.
And here is the Truth:
1. He did not laugh but ejected the whole Aspire Crew from the “Associated SL Press” group in reaction. This group has nothing to do with the Miss SL Universe Organisation. If Frolic Mills really laughed it might sound like the laughter of El Caudillo. Who else if not El Caudillo would ban you from the press when he is pissed and ask you to express your voice when he needs some good avertisment.
2. It was not about “a pair of shoes (or whatever)” but something between 50.000L$ and 80.000L$. Three (!) month after Miss Universe was crowned she received 30K of it. But she had to remind the Organisator also known as El Caudillo. Another prize was a contract with the MAD Agency. The founder of this agency never got back to her.
More main sources here and here.
People like Frolic Mills do nothing but spending a lot of real life money to pay architects to build up a huge theater where they could act like SL Caudillo. And then they interview each other and spread out even more lies.
I hope the future of SL doesn’t belong to copycats and liars which get their legitimation through nothing but a huge marketing network.

Frolic never pays his builders. He tells them that he will make them great heh. Is it just me, or seriously are the buildings and associated sims with Mr Mills on par with the worse sort of designs that no serious architect would touch.
Garish, lacking any elegance of design and understanding of photoshop (I think his builder even admitted a way back he “needed to get to grips with photoshop”)…….
Also, his credit is the worse on the grid. Many creators are owed money by Mr Mills I am sure some will confirm that publicly.
The point is he has tried to make an elite space for an elite crowd. Sadly, it’s rather like the tourist who descend on St Tropez in August not really realizing people in the know really stay in St Paul de Vence.
Comment by Get Over it December 7, 2008 @ 4:42 pmBesides the paymets or not, real money is indeed a game here. Mills uses SL as a way to traffic with dollar prices taking an advantage of the venezuelan rate of currency exchange. A kind of black market of L$ – US$ which could be nice to know by the so lovely dictatorship authorities of the venezuelan currency exchange bureau.
Comment by Soncco Mayu December 22, 2008 @ 3:12 am[...] The first major issue that I am aware of was the resignation of Babyhoney Bailey as Miss SL Universe 2008. Essentially, Frolic Mills promised a hefty load of prizes to the winner (including 30k in linden), but over a course of two to three months, the original promises were swapped, substituted and revoked. In addition, Mills made a pointed note that Bailey was the greedy one, for her original response if he ‘took the money and ran’ would be that the title was worth more than the prizes. However, her crown only netted her a few interviews and a plethora of headaches. You can read a detailed interview, unedited and freely published, here on the Aspire Model Management blog. You can also read more about the press release here, or a snipet about Mills’s self-polishing interview on C.AT.S. [...]
